The Friends of Mountain Lake Park are governed by an all volunteer board. Elections are held annually in December for terms beginning in January each year.
OFFICERS
Kate Scanlan - President. In addition to serving as FMLP's President, Kate also serves on the Neighborhood Parks Council's Steering Committee. You can contact her at: kate@fmlp.org
Rich Shrieve - Vice President. Rich has been active in FMLP for more than 20 years. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Richmond District YMCA. Rich also heads up the Work Crew Committee. You can contact him at: fmlp@fmlp.org
Paul Epstein - Treasurer/Corporate Secretary. Paul has served as FMLP's treasurer and corporate secretary for many years. He handles all our donations, bookkeeping and filings with the IRS and State of California.
Justin Cox - Recording Secretary. Justin was appointed to the Board in 2007 and maintains the minutes and resolutions of the organization as decided at the regular meetings.
BOARD MEMBERS
Elizabeth Mendelsohn - Elizabeth is the former co-President of the Board of FMLP.
Brandon Butrick - Brandon is also a former co-President of the Board of FMLP.
Eleanor Johns - Eleanor has been active with FMLP for many years. She was most recently appointed to the Board in 2007.
Judy Miller - Judy is a founding member of FMLP and a former President of the Board.
Judy Whilt - Judy is another founding member of FMLP and has also served as President of the Board.
Carol Lane - Carol has worked tirelessly on Dog Park Area issues for many years. In 2007 she negotiated the delivery of wood chips to the main portion of the DPA and sod to the hillside behind the benches and picnic table.
Helen Lantz - Helen has been active in FMLP for many years. She was appointed to the Board in 2007. She serves as a Chair of the Social Committee.
Sharon Kish - Sharon is the newest member of the Board. She was appointed in 2008.
